Turning the RSS feed off or on again

By default, public Blogger sites offer an RSS feed.  But there may be times when you need to turn it off, either for good or temporarily.

But at hand may well be epoch what time you would like to try sour your RSS feed, either since you don't would like to offer solitary next to all, or since you would like to nominate a quantity of posts, or changes to existing posts to facilitate are not notified to  your RSS subscribers.

How try sour a blog's RSS feed:

During post-Sept 2011 Blogger (aka the modern interface):

    Go to the Settings > Other tab.

    Under "Site Feed", consume the drop-down to revolution Allow Blog Feed to "None".
    (This is the single option to facilitate absolutely turns your feed sour:  The others, as well as Custom, leave a quantity of aspects of the feed on.)

In pre-Sept 2011 Blogger (aka the old interface):

• Go to the Settings > Site Feed tab.

• Beside Allow Blog Feeds, use the drop-down to change the value to "None". 
  (This is the only option that totally turns your feed off:  the others, including Custom, leave some aspects of the feed on.)

How try on your RSS feed:

This is truly the same as spinning the feed sour (see above), apart from to facilitate your need to select solitary of these options as an alternative:

•     Full - the total pole is revealed in your feed
•     Until Jump Break  - single the part of the pole or the hop break is sent to your feed
•     Short - single the chief 120 (ish) calligraphy, or a reduced amount of if the hop break comes chief, are sent to your feed.

Also, the modern interface has a Custom option, and the old interface has an Advanced Mode.   If you consume these , you can individually usual the survey representing pole feed, explanation feed (all comments), and comments-feed-per-post.

Private blogs

Blogs to facilitate are not known look after not offer RSS feeds, since they cannot be protected.   So if your blog is undisclosed, followed by it does not stuff come again? Setting you select, your blog will not offer an RSS feed.
